Each day will have different music; both days will have a range of music, including Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary Soul, Afrobeat and some House & Techno.

We Are The Fair/We Are OPS Ltd is a Professional Event Management company hired to manage the event. They have worked with many Green Spaces in London.
Tickets will be available to anybody on the event websites.

There will be resident tickets available which will allow residents to apply for discounted tickets depending on their proximity to Burgess Park. If you feel this is you, please email burgessparkevents@columbostar.com with the event name and resident tickets in the subject title. You will need to send a copy of your proof of address and if approved, you will be sent a ticket link. All resident tickets will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
It will be noisier than usual and depending on where you are located, you may hear the music. The organisers have a Noise Management Plan, which means they will be monitoring the sound levels throughout the day to keep them below a certain figure. Burgess Park is dedicated to ensuring that the events taking place on the site do not have a detrimental effect on the site’s Wildlife. The organisers are liaising with Southwark Council & The Rangers Service to ensure minimal impact on the site and pass all their site layouts through them. They will do site handovers with the grounds team and are responsible for any reinstatement to the grounds if required.
An Ecology Survey will be taken out 2wks ahead of the event. This will let us know of any wildlife in the park we should know about and how to protect the wildlife.
The event organisers will employ a professional security company. Security measures will be agreed in advance of the event with the Met Police.
The organisers are paying for a professional litter picking and waste removal company to clear rubbish from the park and the routes that ticket holders will take to and from the park.
The organisers are working with Southwark Council and Highways to create a Traffic Management Plan for the event that has minimal disruption to the area. The audience is not expected to drive in their cars and will mostly arrive by public transport. It will likely be busier in the area.
Residents will see more people in the area They may be able to hear music Roads will be busier when the event closes as people leave the event. An area of the park will not be available whilst the event is on site

The organisers have a web page dedicated to providing community information with an email address that you can contact. A resident letter will be sent to the closest residents, and information posters in the park. There will be the opportunity to attend a meeting with the organisers closer to the time.
The organisers liaise with Southwark Council departments, police, ambulance and fire departments in their preparation plans.
Burgess Park has hosted many events, large-scale community events and funfairs. The hosting of events remains within the remit of Southwark Council.
